The Colloquium Linguisticum Biblicum was first convened in late 2007 by Emeritus Professor Michael Lattke of the University of Queensland. The colloquium meets on the first Monday of most months (see 2009 schedule below) to study selected biblical passages. The primary focus of this group is to keep the main biblical languages, viz. Hebrew and Greek, alive in the academic environment of The University of Queensland, and more generally in the Brisbane area. The colloquium meets at St Francis Theological College, Milton on the first Monday of the month (except for January) between 6.00 and 7.30pm. Old Franciscans Association

The principal objects of the Association are:

1. to support the students and staff of St Francis’ Theological College, especially by prayer and financial assistance;
2. to contribute to the on-going ministry development of its members; and
3. to encourage and foster vocations to the Sacred Ministry of the Church.

Membership is open to all former students of the College who are in Holy Orders or as well as other graduates of the College who are licensed for ministry by a Bishop in the Anglican Church of Australia, or by canonical authorities in another Church which is in communion with the Anglican Church of Australia.
