- The Colloquium Linguisticum Biblicum was first convened in late 2007 by Emeritus Professor Michael Lattke of the University of Queensland. The colloquium meets on the first Monday of most months (see 2009 schedule below) to study selected biblical passages. The primary focus of this group is to keep the main biblical languages, viz. Hebrew and Greek, alive in the academic environment of The University of Queensland, and more generally in the Brisbane area. The colloquium meets at St Francis Theological College, Milton on the first Monday of the month (except for January) between 6.00 and 7.30pm. The principal objects of the Association are:
Old Franciscans Association - to support the students and staff of St Francis’ Theological College, especially by prayer and financial assistance;
- to contribute to the on-going ministry development of its members; and
- to encourage and foster vocations to the Sacred Ministry of the Church.
