Spiritual Direction: a ministry of the Church, to the Church and beyond. Spiritual direction offers an individual the opportunity with a skilled companion to listen and respond to the life-giving presence of God in daily life.

The spiritual direction relationship is a sacred encounter of trust, confidentiality and contemplative listening.

Spiritual direction is a ministry in the church concerned with facilitating a person's growth in intimacy with God which leads, as a consequence to right relationship to creation.  The ministry has a long and revered history in the Christian tradition and has been practiced by lay people, vowed religious and clergy.
